Pair of sculptural wall lights, designed by Gioffredo Reggiani, and made by Reggiani, Vedano al Lambro, circa 1965.
They are in polished stainless steel and painted steel, and also lacquered in white on the back of the cups.
This model is a very successful Italian work for 70’, very sculptural and dramatic, beautiful mood lighting is emitted from the backlit discs, which cast sculptural shadows.

Biography

Gioffredo Reggiani (1929 – ) founded the Reggiani Illuminazione company in Italy in the early 1950s. He began by designing decorative prototypes of the luminaires he produced. He then called on artists, designers and architects to improve his production, including Gio Ponti, Richard Rogers etc… His workshop went on to become an innovative, world-renowned industry.
