He creates furniture, lighting, accessories for brands such as Hermès, Pierre Cardin, Saks Fifth Avenue… His creations are characterized by clean and elegant lines, with particularly careful details.

Jean-Claude Mahey has won numerous awards including the prestigious René Gabriel Prize in 1977.

He died in 1992. His creations are still highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts.
