René Fumeron is a French artist born in 1921 and died in 2004.

A 20th century cardboard painter, René Fumeron is a decorator and designer of tapestries in Aubusson. He carries out numerous private and public commissions, and participates, with other creative cardboard painters, in the creation of tapestries for the apartments of the liner France.
